You apply on granola.ai/students with your student email and an upload of your student ID. Business lists at $14 per user a month, so the year is worth $168 at list price. Granola calls the Student Pack a limited edition offer.

Apply on granola.ai/students
The form asks for your name, your student email (US, UK or Canada, typed in lowercase), your university, your expected graduation date, your student status, and an upload of your student ID.
Use the academic email you will keep using
Granola’s billing docs say the Student Pack works with your academic email and cannot be moved to a personal email later.
Wait to be accepted
It is an application, not an instant code. Granola reviews it first.
Finish checkout in Settings > Billing
After you are accepted, open Settings > Billing in Granola and complete the upgrade checkout. The coupon should apply on its own. Until you do this, Granola treats the account as a normal trial and may keep sending you trial-ending emails. Coupons belong to the workspace where you redeem them, so do it in the workspace you plan to use.
After the free year
What it costs when the 12 months end.
Granola’s student page and billing docs do not say what happens on month 13. What they do say: Business is $14 per user a month, billed monthly. For a paid Business subscription, Granola’s cancellation terms say you can cancel any time from Settings > Billing > Manage subscription, the plan runs to the end of the billing period, and the workspace then moves to Basic, which is free.
Basic keeps AI meeting notes but shows only the last 30 days of notes in the app (older ones are stored, not deleted), limits integrations to Slack, and runs Chat on Auto model selection only. Check Settings > Billing a few weeks before your year runs out to see what your workspace will be on next.

Routines has no student discount.
